God's Most Perfect Place

 
If tomorrow is that day God calls
To take me to my Heavenly home
No sorrow should you feel for me
From God’s house I will never roam

 Heaven is God’s most perfect place
On Earth we see the work of His hand
One day we will see His Heavenly home
It is there He has made everything grand

We know not Heaven has in store for us
But our faith in God must always be strong
We know only through His son can we enter
Those Holy gates and get to where we belong

In the serenity of Heaven eternal life begins
An experience made possible through Jesus
If you believe in Him and tell Him with prayer
You also will be in His great Kingdom with us

My Walk With Jesus

I want to walk through life with Jesus
Knowing He will always be by my side
Having the comfort to know He is here
He tells me that in Heaven I shall reside

I want to ever follow His Holy teachings
Never once fail to give Him all the Glory
Listen to every word He has to tell me
One day He will give me all of the story

Jesus died taking my sin as if His own
It is written death is the penalty for sin
He did this because of the love He has
Believe in Him and see a new life begin

Through Jesus you find a Heavenly home
He is the only one who can let you come in
Jesus is best friend that you could ever find
With Him its a Heavenly victory you can win

With Jesus Forever

When I meet you over yonder
My heart will be filled with love
Knowing soon I’ll see my Jesus
To spend all eternity far above

In that land I’ll find happiness
Know all the joy filling my soul
See my God who is my maker
His faith will make me whole

Up there we find no inner circle
God loves us each just the same
Believe in Him and find a home
There is one that has your name

I want to be with Jesus forever
Not a minute should I ever leave
In my heart I will always love Him
Its in my Savior I ever will believe

Put Our Trust In Jesus

Though life on Earth is weary
We must put our trust in God
He shows us a way to Heaven
After we are placed in the sod

We will rise into His Kingdom
See this world of great beauty
Spend all eternity with Jesus
Just the way He wants it to be

If you have never met our Savior
There is something you must do
On bended knee you must pray
You’ll find things you never knew

Daily tell Him that you love Him
That to Him you will always be true
When He sees you entering Heaven
He will put His arms around you

Walk Along With Jesus

Happiness I will bring you this day
I feel like singing you a sweet song
It is of a place we know as Heaven
It will be our home before too long

God has made it for all His believers
A sanctuary where we never grow old
He has the divine powers to keep us
In that city with streets of pure Gold

So much comfort and beauty abounds
In this land He created for me and you
Only God could have made this place
It is yours too if to God you will be true

Some day together we shall be up there
Gather around His great Throne and pray
Meet the best friend we could ever know
When we walk along with Jesus that day

Ship Of Life

The winds of time shall never change me
To my Lord I will ever be faithful and free
Like a ship I shall shudder but never fail
My Master here beside me will ever be

Though the storm clouds shall be leaden
Angry lightning may show its Red streak
Our sails shall not be tattered nor be torn
Not even at the masts most highest peak

Swollen waves will roll toward the seaside
Echoing crashes that are both far and near
Spray from the waves that now hit the beach
We can feel and we also are able to hear

He will ever be the Master of my ship of life
He will guide me through a stormy day or night
If you have Jesus at the helm of your life’s ship
Don’t worry because He will ever steer it right

His Everlasting Care

I feel the long cold days of winter
As my life slowly comes to an end
Not too long ago days were warm
When the Sun had its rays to send

Soon the dark side of life will come
When on this Earth I will see no more
I will ascend into my Heavenly home
To find that God has left an open door

Wonders of Heaven will be around me
Many things I could never comprehend
Our marvelous Master can do anything
All the joys of Heaven to me He will send

No cold days or nights will be in Heaven
Perfection will be seen every day up there
God will watch over each of His believers
We shall always be in His everlasting care

Tell Him Of Your Love

As I stand beside Him in the morning
There is fog and dew is on the ground
Then the Sun will rise from the horizon
Another lovely day soon will be found

I have this feeling of great excitement
It is with my Lord we will spend the day
He tells me of His place we call Heaven
I shall have a home there I do ever pray

There to renew many old acquaintances
Those who were gone before we passed
See many angels that appear up yonder
Know we are in the arms of Jesus at last

Living a life on Earth that is true to Him
Shall get you into His mansion one day
Believe in His teachings and most of all
Tell Him of your love every time you pray

God Loves All His Chikdren

In the darkness of night I am never alone
He is always standing there near my side
He shields me from the evil of this world
He is the only one on which I have relied

As I face an uncertain world He is with me
Showing the right path I must tread today
When I am troubled He will ease my mind
He always answers when He hears me pray

He is the rock that I will always depend on
He will right a ship that is in a raging storm
Spectacular deeds we see Him perform daily
To Him would only be something that is norm

Perhaps you have never met the one I talk about
You will find that He is standing along by you too
Talk to Him for He will listen to every word said
God loves all His children and that includes you

Without You

When the last breath is gone from my body
A better home awaits me high up in the sky
There I shall meet the great Creator of us all
Jesus will answer questions and tell me why

Those things we could not know on the Earth
He will explain as we reach that Heavenly site
His love will reach out to each of His believers
But down on Earth we must get all things right

I will pray and ask Him to forgive me all my sin
Knowing through Him I must go to get my reward
Ever being faithful to Him down here on this Earth
On that Heavenly train, believers it will be all aboard

He loves you and He has this Kingdom awaiting you
Don’t try to pretend if with Him you are not true
You would then miss the greatest thing you could do
We can’t think of what Heaven would be without you

Trust In The Father

When the last breath of life
Has gone from this old body
Soon with my God I will be
It is an eternal life I will see

He has blessed me with life
This life on Earth complete
Now is time to be with God
It will be in Heaven we meet

Never to feel Earthly pains
God will take them all away
Knowing that He hears me
Each time I kneel and pray

I will be guided by my Jesus
Heed words He has to say
Keeping trust in the Father
In His arms I will be one day

Let the whole world sing
Praises to His Holy name
From the mountain side
To the windswept range

Sing the song with feeling
Sing it with our voice loud
Know the love in our heart
Float on the highest cloud

Every line will be for Him
In our heart show Him love
Know one day we will meet
In God’s land high up above

Believe in our Holy Father
Sing to Him that lovely song
See that day you shall meet
You know it won’t be long

Our Friend

 
There is an old friend I am longing to see
I met Him when the Roses were in bloom
In a beautiful garden just beyond the river
In Heaven He has prepared for me a room

He loves me without any kind of hesitation
Where my Savior lives I want to be there too
To live with Him throughout our eternal life
Should be of a great concern to me and you

When this Earthly life has passed and is done
His kingdom awaits the spirits of you and me
There to be with our loved ones that we knew
Heaven shall be that grand place for all to be

I know you will love my friend as He loves you
You can see Him in the garden almost any day
There is a small stream flowing in the garden
It is there both you and our friend shall pray

My Sister Betty

My sister Betty went to be with God in 2000
 
In those rolling hills of Rushtown
An immaculate cemetery we see
Rows of grave markers are there
On one is my sister’s name Betty

Located down along Brush Creek
Where it is peaceful and so quiet
You can smell the trimmed grass
I am sure this morning it was cut

Betty left this world to be with God
When pain became too much to bear
No longer will she ever suffer any pain
She is now under God’s tender care

I know that one day I shall join Betty
Play like kids on those streets of Gold
There we can feel and know God’s love
It’s something we don’t need to be told

My Great Friend

I have this great friend I want you to meet
His name is Jesus and he can save your soul
He suffered death as the penalty for our sins
Still God had everything under His control

He lives again now up in His Heavenly Home
Ascending there after life on Earth was done
Up there to be reunited with the Holy Father
It was Jesus who was God’s only begotten son

There will come a day I will be there with Him
To live through all of Eternity this friend and me
Where all evil doings will be left down on Earth
We know there in Heaven it will ever be sin free

When your day comes I hope you will be with me
To walk on those streets made of the purest Gold
Knowing we will never again be parted in that life
It’s true because in the Bible that’s the way it’s told

In God;s Kingdom

When my life on Earth is never more
God will call me to the Heavenly shore
There I shall live throughout all Eternity
He prepared that home for you and me

When our Savior takes you by the hand
He will lead you on to the Promised Land
There forever you shall be safe and free
It is up there God will protect you and me

Look to the future as the past is now gone
Each day we will find a Sun drenched dawn
Not one dark cloud will float across the sky
You won’t need an umbrella to keep you dry

In His Kingdom I will find happiness one day
It’s welcome home son I shall hear Him say
Never from God’s Kingdom will I ever roam
There forever and ever this will be my home

A Hero Died

 
As the silver casket was pulled from the Hearse
You could see a new flag covered the casket top
There the firing squad stood at a rigid attention
It seemed as if the whole world would then stop

A bride of six months stood crying over her loss
She was starting to show there would be a child
So many miles he had been sent to fight the war
He was killed in a firefight that became very wild

It was quiet as the bugler played the military taps
As the flag was folded it was handed to the wife
Tears of sorrow rolled down her anguished face
She would never again see him in this mortal life

What do you say when a loved one is lost in a war
You have compassion for the wife and his family
You pray that they will meet again up in Heaven
Where from the pain of death they are set free

I Shall Never Sever

One blessed day I shall meet Him
There I will fall down on my knees
Kiss the feet of the only true God
It is my Savior I do want to please 

He has given me life on this Earth
One day that life will taken away
It will be an eternal life then given
I have a home with my Lord I pray

Trying to follow His ever command
I know there are times that I will fail
For this I will ask for His forgiveness
It’s a great trip to Heaven I shall sail

Our God is a glorious and a fair God
He wants us all to be with Him forever
To stray away from His Holy teachings
My relation with God I will never sever
