A Place Called Heaven

There’ll come a day when I will meet Jesus
I’ll hear my mother call my name out loud
In a place where life will go on for Eternity
Where Angels play on a fleecy White cloud

Beauty will be seen up there in God’s Heaven
Things we’ll see that Earth has not ever known
Peace will be our daily pleasure uninterrupted
We will see the prettiest flowers ever grown

Our hearts will feel the great love that is flowing
For Heaven means love to everyone that is there
All around God’s great land we will find comfort
Knowing we will forever be in our Savior’s care

Someday I know I will meet you there in Heaven
We will gather around and have ourselves a Jubilee
Knowing things we did on Earth earned us a home
In this place Heaven, made by God for you and me

A Tear

She sits in the rocking chair in the parlor
Holding her old frayed Bible in her hand
Her favorite passages are found in Acts
She knows things go just as God planned

She briefly thinks back to those yesterdays
When a young handsome man she did meet
She thought he was the greatest man ever
He told her that he thought she was sweet

It has been five years now since he left her
They had more than fifty years wedded bliss
She can still feel his arms as they had held her
She still remembers their first awkward kiss

A tear wells in her eye thinking about her life
How her four children have all moved away
She sits alone here in the old parlor and prays
That God would reunite her with him one day

That Celestial City

When we meet in that Celestial City
Joy shall reign and happiness abound
As we meet our departed love ones
It is a true glory that we have found

There we shall meet our Lord daily
Worship Him for He is King of Kings
Walk a golden pathway with Jesus
There he will explain so many things

We will gather at God’s great throne
Show Him all of our devotion and love
See all the beauty here that God made
With an unclouded Blue sky up above

If you will trust Christ as your Savior
You too will see these things as I do
Heaven will be yours for all Eternity
Getting there will all depend on you

A God Of Love

When my life on Earth is over and done
God’s great kingdom I shall see that day
Beauty we never ever seen on the Earth
Will be shown to me in every kind of way

With mansions built by God’s great hand
We shall be welcomed to make our home
There we will find grassy Green rolling hills
Plenty of wonderful places for us to roam

There to walk and talk to Him every day
Worship Him and tell Him just how you feel
Knowing He is the creator of all that we see
How could anyone ever think He is not real

Our life on Earth is but a temporary stay
One day God shall call and we must answer
To meet Him on that great judgment day
To find He is a God of love and not of anger

Our Great Creator

I’ll never forget who brought me here
It was the great Creator who made us all
He made everything in the world today
Heed His Holy word, ever hear His call

He wants you to meet Him up in Heaven
He has prepared a home for you and me
Sun shines brightly in His wonderful place
Happiness fills this land, all there are free

God is a loving father who cares for us all
He would never forget even a bad sinner
Ask and receive forgiveness for those sins
His Holy hand will make us all a winner

Glory in Heaven God will ever show us
His love cannot be measured by any rule
Open you heart and give Him your thanks
To not do this would make you a real fool

God's Perfect World

High above the crystal stream
An Eagle soars on silent wings
Spotting a speckled trout below
Food for her babies she brings

Her nest is on a mountain ledge
With five hungry eaglets to feed
When she spots a rabbit below
She will dive at breakneck speed

She must be a hunter and mother
If her babies are to survive today
In this wonderful world of nature
It was God who made it this way

His hand created things that we see
High mountains with a stream below
Beautiful trees are tall and majestic
With God it is perfect and never so so
