Jesus

I will meet Him up in Glory
Yes Jesus is my best friend
He took my sins as His own
Gives me a life without end

That day will be soon arriving
I know not the time or the day
I talk to Him morning and night
Each time that I kneel and pray

He tells me of that great city
Where we will spend eternity
In a home of Gold and Marble
He has made for you and me

You must believe to get there
In the Holy Bible it tells us so
It is through our friend Jesus
If up to Heaven we are to go

Snow

When the snow lies deep upon the meadow
Hardly a sound is heard in the frosty breeze
Tonight the children will have a big campfire
If this weather keeps up the lake will freeze

Roasting marshmallows by a big fire is fun
 Hot chocolate tonight will really hit the spot
Sleigh riding down the hill brings us much joy
Crashing into a tall snow bank really does not

When we were children we loved these nights
Today these old bones cannot stand the cold
When the weather gets much below Seventy
I really bundle up and I don't have to be told

Do you suppose God made the cold for children
Where they could play in the snow all day long
They never seem to get cold like us old folks do
So kids have fun while you are young and strong

Up There Forever

One day I will see that city of Gold
Where peace and comfort abound
Never will I leave this blessed place
Forever to live on God's Holy ground

He has made this place for believers
Who knows that our God really lives
They worship their Lord and Master
For it is an eternal life that He gives

From a world that is so filled with evil
To the tranquility of that peaceful land
We shall meet up in a beautiful Heaven
Its another part of God's masterful plan

You too can join in on this eternal trip
Confess all past sins as He will forgive
Believe in our Jesus who can save you
It is up there forever that you will live

A Beautiful Morning

 
It was on a clear bright morning I met Him
He was standing near the beautiful flowers
The air was fresh as He stood there waiting
It had been cleaned by the earlier showers

So much joy filled my heart when I saw Him
A smile was on His face as He greeted me
I could feel the excitement building within
His grace and mercy would set my soul free

Free from a ravished world so beset with sin
Disobeying God's Holy word without shame
Breaking His commandments without caring
They even use vulgar words in His Holy name

To be free of all of the corruption down here
My Heavenly home will be so sweet to see
Peace and contentment shall be seen there
As I spend an Eternal life God made for me

He Knows Everything

What can anybody tell Him
That He don't already know
He knows before it happens
For it was He that made it so

Your every thought He hears
He knew what that would be
If a million all spoke at once
He would hear each you see

He won't overlook anything
But forgiveness is in His heart
His pure love is ever unending
It has been right from the start

If you love and obey him daily
Believe in Him and make amends
Your home shall ever be with Him
For believers to Heaven He sends

Our Home

Have you ever wondered why
He put the stars up in the sky
I have wondered if it could be
They were made for us to see

Mysteries are found on Earth
We will find what is their worth
In that City with streets of Gold
God's explanations will unfold

One day up there we will see
A home made for you and me
Mansions of marble and Gold
In our heart love we shall hold

Up in Heaven every day is good
Just like God promised it would
No worries up there we will see
In our home throughout Eternity

A Nighttime Prayer

As evening shadows darken
Nighttime falls on the valley
Another day of work is over
Time to rest for you and me

A prayer and off to bed we go
Dreaming of what lies up ahead
Where we will live a life forever
In that land that knows no dread

It is up there we will meet our God
Then gather around His great throne
See a world that is of pure perfection
Find out things we have never known

When morning comes and we awake
We know just what lies ahead for us
When death takes our mortal body
We will spend all eternity with Jesus

He Has Taken All Blame

As I walk today with my Lord
Deep feelings are in my heart
I know it is through Him I go
To that land I will never depart

His is a land of Eternal beauty
Where time won't let you age
Only happiness is allowed there
Never to see any anger or rage

I Know one day I shall be there
To see all the marvels He made
See the perfection He created
Made so vivid it can never fade

His invitation is open to everyone
You must be true to his Holy name
Confess all sins and in Him believe
For your sins He has taken all blame

God's Plan

When we meet in that city of Gold
We will gather around God's throne
Hear His words as they are spoken
Realize things we never had known

Mysteries will never be up in Heaven
God will explain it all when we get there
He will show us the beautiful mansions
Where we will live in His all loving care

Our time here on Earth has had it limits
In Heaven we will live throughout Eternity
No dying or sorrow will Heaven ever know
God will provide everything for you and me

If tomorrow God should call me up there
Do not feel sorrow for this wretch of a man
My Eternal life will be filled with so much joy
Which is just another part of our God's plan

Only Two Places

 
When this life on Earth is gone
There are only two places to go
Either you go see God in Heaven
Or see that old devil down below

You know the choice is up to you
Either believe in God and be free
Keep on thinking it will never end
Ignore God and hell you shall see

He sent His Son to save our soul
Who died so we could Eternally live
Hanging on a wooden cross He died
My home up in Heaven He will give

Today thank Him in your daily prayer
Tell him of your heart filled with love
How you want to walk with Him there
In that Glorious land that is high above

Do You Blame Adam

In this world that has gone so wrong
Wonder how much longer it will stand
God, we know can't be happy this day
It was He that made this perfect land

Should we put all the blame on Adam
Or Eve who was enticed by the snake
God told them not to eat of that tree
Still from that tree fruit they did take

That day they committed a great sin
Disobeying what God told them to do
For the penalty for sin was to be death
Still God shows an eternal life for you

We have no idea how long time will last
But by God's own word it won't be long
He will send us believers on up to Heaven
Devil gets the rest because they are wrong

Say A Prayer

 
His Son lay down his life on Calvary
So all Earthly sinners could be free
Hung on an old rugged cross to die
He took on sins of both you and I

Jesus walked on the Earth as a man
He would die for us was in the plan
Knowing the penalty for sin is to die
We could meet Him in Heaven is why

His love is far beyond what we know
Our love for Him should daily grow
That Holy Bible shows us the way
To meet Him up in Heaven one day

Wont you say a prayer on your knees
First word of the prayer is to be please
Ask for His guidance and ask for His love
He will guide you to that Holy City above
