The Answer To It All

When I was lost and without hope
I heard a voice that seemed to call
From the depths of this lost hope
It said Jesus is the answer to it all

On bended knees I started to pray
To the Lord and Master up above
Save this soul from the fire of hell
Fill my heart with everlasting love

When this life on Earth is then over
He will give me a home for eternity
Where I will find peace and comfort
God has built a home for you and me

If some day you need to see a friend
One who you know will ever be on call
His home awaits you high up in Heaven
You will find Jesus is the answer to it all

Never Be Dim

In the dampness of this cold Winter morning
Storm clouds appear in a dark and angry sky
Soon we will see those large snowflakes falling
Covering up a cold ground that is bare and dry

Just last week the temperature was seventy
People were walking with shorts and a shirt
Now with the air getting low in the twenties
Girls are wearing snowsuits instead of a skirt

Weathermen tell what the weather should be
But it is God who has the correct and final say
His has the power to make the Sun shine now
Or He can make it rain twenty four hours a day

Our God is a great God and what He does is right
There are times when we stray too far from Him
He will show us that He is in charge of everything
With our loving Savior my future will never be dim

A Pile Of Sand

When our life on this Earth has ended
There is a better place that we will find
We will be among the angels in Heaven
Forever we shall have a peaceful mind

We will see almighty God upon the throne
Where all Christians then will gather around
There will be a Jubilee where we all will listen
To hear the Heavenly choir’s beautiful sound

There will be many acres of lush Green grasses
Where the children can play and romp with joy
Never fearing that they could suffer any harm
For God watches over every little girl and boy

If today you have thoughts of going to this place
God is waiting there to help you to His Holy land
Build your faith of our Savior upon that great rock
For you shall fail if it is built upon a pile of sand

On The Right Road

What a beautiful way to start this day
It is cold but not one cloud in the sky
With the temperature at eleven degrees
Our Sun is bright and so we wonder why

We know it’s God who makes the seasons
As He has made everything that we can see
On these cold days He still keeps us warm
With clothing and a fire for both you and me

In the Summer, it is much the same with Him
We can go to the pool and we can take a dip
Or sit under one of the trees that He has made
We might also have a cold lemonade we can sip

God provides us with comfort here on this Earth
But He has saved the best for our Heavenly abode
He asks that we believe his word to see that home
Ask Him and He will always put you on the right road

It's In The Bible

With a world that is uncertain many despair
Never sure what happens next is a concern
If they would pick up and read the Holy Bible
There are so many valuable lessons to learn

First we must learn that God created all men
That He also sent Jesus to Earth to save us all
To be hung on an old wooden cross until death
To take on our sins so Heaven would be our call

In the Bible we can read and understand His word
He tells us to believe in Him and He has this place
That is far beyond any place a human eye can see
It is a heavenly home He has built in far outer space

Every one can go to this eternal home some day
Follow every word in the Bible that you have read
You will find a life awaits you in the Promised Land
When no longer on this evil Earth shall you tread

Our Savior's Loving Care

With the sweet smell of dew on the Roses
My morning begins as I meet sweet Jesus
As we walk and talk my heart is very happy
I hear song birds singing so sweetly for us

As we walk he assures me He is the truth
Every word He utters fills me with gladness
Knowing one day I shall be with Him forever
In that beautiful place of Eternal forgiveness

He tells me of a place He has made for me
It is so far beyond the distant twinkling star
Only through Me can you get there He said
If you believe in Me the gates will be left ajar

His soothing words are so sweet to my ears
Knowing that one day I shall meet Him up there
Where we all can live througout all of Eternity
There to be forever in our Savior's loving care
