In God's Care

 
May I never lose sight of my Savior
I shall forever want Him by my side
Then as I reach that City of His Glory
It is there with my Lord I will abide


He has built Heaven for all believers
You must be born again to get there
Ask that all your sins will be forgiven
For it is God’s love He wants to share


We know that we were born as sinners
Also we know the penalty for sin is death
But Jesus took on all our sins as His own
So that we could have an eternal breath


From our humdrum life on this Earth
To marvels He has made for us there
We’ll rejoice and count our blessings
Knowing we will ever be in God’s care

Beautiful Land Of God

Although my life on this Earth is not quite over
I think of what my days up in Heaven shall be
Gathering around God’s great throne in Glory
Hearing His blessings as my crown He gives me


What a wonderful time we will have up there
Hearing angels as they sing in perfect harmony
Walking on those streets paved with pure Gold
Sanctuary of peace and comfort for you and me


There I will be reunited with my precious family
See all the many friends I knew down on Earth
We will be thankful that we knew God back then
Because only God could give us this second birth


Although I don’t know what time He will call me
It is something that only our God could ever know
Whenever He sends for me I know I will be ready
On up to that beautiful land of God I shall then go

On That Golden Strand

When I walk on those Golden streets
My Savior will be walking by my side
In a land that will never know sorrow
There with Jesus Christ I shall abide


From a world that is filled with hatred
To this marvelous home of tranquility
God has built a perfect home up there
Showing love for both you and for me


Only through Jesus Christ may we enter
Into this wonderful land for all Eternity
He took on our sins as if there were His
Giving a life forever for both you and me


It is for His love we have the opportunity
To live in a world He made with His hand
Where we shall know peace all of our days
As we walk with Him on that Golden strand

Kingdom Of God

Someday I shall find this place
Where we will never grow old
It will have beautiful buildings
All the streets paved with Gold


For this is the kingdom of God
Built by His own mighty hands
There is peace and tranquility
Walking upon its white sands


With unpolluted air to breathe
No more sickness shall there be
In this world filled with kindness
Only happiness will we ever see


We know God is an ever loving God
Never will He turn His back to you
Just believe in all of His teachings
Then have a heart that is ever true

Safely In God's Arms

When my final words are spoken
When I tell this old world goodbye
Just lay my head on that soft linen
My spirit will head up into the sky

Up there I’ll meet our loving Savior
Walk with Him on that Golden shore
Rejoice with those Angels high above
Then feel aches nor pains never more

See a beautiful home He made for me
Where throughout eternity I shall live
I will fall on my knees in Honor of Him
For it is an Eternal life to me He will give

My old friends will come and greet me
I’ll get to see those who had gone before
Safely in my God’s arms I will be forever
Free from a sin filled world for evermore

God's Love

When we hear our name called in Heaven
Rejoicing in awesome wonder shall we be
Then see Jesus Christ our wonderful Savior
I will praise His holy name on bended knee

It is there we will see His great perfection
Wonders that can’t be seen down on Earth
Where the purest Gold paves those streets
Showing us what God thinks Gold is worth

Everything God has put in Heaven is the best
No short comings will ever be seen up there
No royal kingdom on Earth could ever equal
It would be so useless if we tried to compare

For those who have never known God’s love
Missing out on His love would be like a crime
No matter who you are or what you have done
God’s love has been with you all of the time

His Heavenly Ground

Walking through this world full of hope
There may be times when we fail to see
That there is a God who truly loves us all
One who made a home for you and me

We should read what is in the Holy Bible
Truth in that great book can ever be found
Read it from page one then read it again
You’ll find the way to His Heavenly ground

His love for us is shown as we read His book
We are all His children each and every one
He built a great kingdom where we will go
When our life on this Earth is over and done

There is only one way that we can get there
It is through our Savior we know as Jesus
He took on our sins on that old rugged cross
Gaining an eternal life for all believers like us

Only Truth With Him

My heart is with Him wherever I go
Only truth with Him shall I ever find
He died for our sins on that old cross
He gave sight to a man that was blind

He walked this Earth many years ago
To most He looked like any mortal man
Some loved Him while others felt hate
Could this have been part of God’s plan

He died for all of our sins on that cross
For the wages of sin are death it is said
He tells us of a home He has built for us
Where we will have life after we are dead

We wonder today where else would we go
If not for the Eternal home He made for us
Knowing if we follow the right pathway of life
We will walk those streets of Gold with Jesus

My Only Answer

There is a land where there is no parting
It’s a land in where we shall live forever
It has streets of Gold and Marble portals
It’s a land where all believers will gather

So beautiful God has made us this place
Where we can spend eternity with Him
Darkness will never settle on God’s land
Sun will always be bright and never dim

We will see marvels never thought on Earth
He has made for our comfort and protection
God has made this place for all His believers
Everything He makes is done with perfection

I dream of the day when I shall meet with Him
Fall down on my knees and say a thankful prayer
Praise His Holy name and give Him my love forever
For I know my God has always been my only answer

Friends

As we travel the highway of life
Friends we make along the way
Some remain in our heart forever
Others fade and are gone away

True friends will come back to you
Others will find someone they like
Yet others find anger in their heart
Might even tell you to take a hike

It is with sadness some go wrong
Never caring why or who they hurt
They are only thinking of themselves
Treating others as if they are only dirt

If they could only be in touch with God
What a different life they would know
Love would be in their heart for everyone
Like their age love would continue to grow

Our Friend Jesus

From the beauty of majestic mountains
Down into deep valleys and the streams
God has made this world for us to live in
He gives us a life that is filled with dreams


It is here we prepare for a life in Heaven
Where pain and suffering will be no more
He has made this place for all the believers
Makes no difference if you are rich or poor


From this sin filled world we ask forgiveness
For all of our sins that our Savior has died for
It is written that the penalty for sin is death
So confess to Him and be saved for evermore

In a world that has beauty beyond compare
He has made a marvelous eternal home for us
One He has built with perfection as only He can
There one day we will see our good friend Jesus

My New Life

One day soon my God will call me
To that city along the shining sea
It is there I will begin my new life
There in Heaven forever I shall be


His only Son took on all of my sins
On that old rugged cross He did die
He made a home for us in Heaven
To get there without Him don’t try


When our Earthly life is over and done
Judgment day must be seen by us all
Will we be ready to meet His standard
When the time comes that He will call


We know not the hour, minute, or day
When our name appears in that book
That calls us to meet with our Maker
Happiness is found with the first look
