God's Brauty

Standing on this wild flowered knoll
I can see the waterfalls down below
With mountains as the background
I can see pine trees starting to grow

I can hear the roar of the waterfalls
As water cascades into a fogy mist
Beautiful are the mountains above
By an early Sun they have been kissed

With air fresh that is never polluted
I see an ideal setting up here this day
I am overjoyed at these surroundings
I fall down on my knees and I do pray

I thank the good Lord for this beauty
A sight like this I have not seen before
Is this just a glimpse of God’s Heaven
If so, I surely would want to see more

His Holy Home

Like a stream that meanders in the forest
Our lives some way seems to get off track
Times we might lose our sense of direction
We must turn to our Savior to get it back

He will always keep us on the straight path
If only we heed the lessons that He will tell
Don’t listen to that demon called the devil
He wants to send your soul straight to hell

A stream may be pure and be safe to drink
It can become contaminated in many ways
Poisons can enter the stream in a short time
Other times it can take a period of many days

Don’t let your life become polluted with poison
Turn to God and to Him you must always be true
He has a place for you to live through all Eternity
His Holy home is beyond a Heavenly sky of Blue

He Will Answer

Visions of my childhood I see today
As the snowflakes are falling down
When I enjoyed playing in the snow
Times we would act like a silly clown

Then I could be in the cold for hours
Sliding down the hill on my little sled
A fire was burning down at the bottom
Sparks would fly from embers of Red

Today, things are now much different
These old bones are never warm now
Circulation keeps these feet cold as ice
Still I wish I could go play out somehow

But I guess I will watch those snowflakes
Sit here inside and dream about the past
Sometimes us older folks sit and wonder
Why our youth couldn’t much longer last

We have a way for that come true for us
There is a place where youth is forever
Up in God’s Heaven if we believe in Him
Ask in prayer, He will give you the answer

He Will Answer

If your heart feels heavy today
Call on God in a solemn prayer
Ask Him to relive your burdens
To your prayers He will answer

Even in the darkest of nights
He can always show His light
It will direct you on your way
On a path that is always right

He is always near so tell Him
You know He is the real King
He will listen to your words
New life to you He will bring

Never to be swayed by lucifer
That devil only wants your soul
God loves you always and ever
Returning love makes you whole

Love For Him Is Eternal

No tears in Heaven shall we see
Only happiness there shall abide
Hearts will be filled with His love
With our Savior always by our side

Amazing will be our lives up there
Not fears nor worries will we find
God’s grace will see us all the way
Earth’s problems will be left behind

Although that devil will tempt you
Turn away from a life filled with sin
Walk a path that God shows to you
He will open Heaven and let you in

Years spend on Earth worshiping Him
Are only for a short time as we know
Eternity is forever without an ending
Love for Him is Eternal it will ever grow

A Perfect Place

Heaven can be only a prayer away
Just confess to God all of your sins
Tell Him of your love that you have
Your faith in God is where it begins

He is the Master who knows it all
He created everything that we see
Not one thing no matter how small
Would there have been without He

So let Him guide you down that path
That leads to you Eternal Home on high
There you shall see all mysteries unfold
Where our Lord and Master is ever nigh

He planned this Eternal Home with care
Knowing all His believer will be up there
Not even one detail has He left undone
A perfect place for His children to share

Life

Life on this Earth is very uncertain
Not knowing when our life is done
We could feel fine in the morning
Life could be gone with set of Sun

Time on Earth is only a short time
Life is Eternal in Heaven up above
There to meet our precious Savior
Then know of His never ending love

We will find it’s peaceful in Heaven
Not to worry what to wear each day
No troubles will we ever know there
It’s a glorious land where angels play

I know I will meet you up in Heaven
I am sure that you will be up there too
Up there we can spend our Eternal life
For on Earth to God we were ever true

Belief In God

When we find a time of suffering
Prayer to God will see us through
It brings a feeling of His great love
He has created both me and you

His compassion will overwhelm us
When we find about His great love
He wants us all to join Him up there
Far away and high in Heaven above

If we heed His promise and we obey
His home we will see that glorious day
There angels will play their harps for us
Heaven through Jesus is the only way

To see God’s Promised Land one day
Is what my life on this Earth is about
To be reunited with love ones up there
Belief in God is worth it without doubt

With That First Look

For those of you who have lost your sweet mother I dedicate this poem

 
I want to walk in Heaven with mother
It will be such a grand hallelujah day
I know she is up there waiting for me
I remember that day she went away

Tears well in my eyes from the joy
As I think of the sweet time it will be
When our family gathers at His throne
There will be Glory for our eyes to see

As sweet as mother was here on Earth
In Heaven she will shine like a bright star
I can still remember how she sang to me
I know she will sing in that Heavenly Choir

I feel good in knowing again I shall see her
When my number is written in God’s book
There we shall live throughout all Eternity
Happiness will be mine with that first look

God's City Of Peace

Only believers will go up there
Where the Sun will never set
Everyone there is your friend
A stranger there is never met

If you listen with your heart
His undying love you will know
Follow all His commandments
Then up to Heaven you shall go

If there should be any doubt
Look around and you will see
Everything was made by God
He created both you and me

He has made a place just for us
Where we can spend all Eternity
Beautiful is God’s city of peace
A place everyone wants to see

Your Eternal Home

 
What a grand day it will be
When my Savior I shall see
As we meet on that shore
Heaven is mine ever more

If tomorrow is the last day
On this Earth I should stay
Lord I want to be with you
Tell me Heaven is my due

I have a heart full of love
For my Master up above
For it is He I want to see
Standing there next to me

If this is not your dream
You are lost it might seem
But if to Him you do pray
You will find His love today

In that home that’s on high
You will find Him always nigh
Never to let you mind roam
Heaven is your Eternal home
