A New Life

When the pain of our life has ended
We shall be with our Savior up above
There to spend a new life in all eternity
Filled with God’s holy and precious love

This new life He has for us is so special
He has a kingdom for believers like us
Mansions that are so beautiful to see
A Golden pathway to walk with Jesus

Up there were we will ever hear singing
Songs sung by angels in sweet harmony
We will hear harps they are strumming
Those wonderful songs for you and me

So precious is our Heavenly Father to us
No matter what we have done in the past
If we confess sin and ask Him to forgive us
We can have a life that will eternally last

A Magnificent World

 
Beauty seen in the early morning Sun
Starts my day off with a wonderful smile
Knowing it is God who created the Sun
I stop to admire this wonder for a while

Tall trees seem to reach high in the sky
Casting lengthy shadows on the ground
A lonely cloud I can see on the horizon
A field full of White clover can be found

A small stream meanders along the field
A big hornets’ nest clings to an Oak tree
I have spent this beautiful morning alone
Knowing God will soon join up with me

He created this scene that I see this day
What a magnificent world He made for us
He then sent His son to save our sinful soul
Taking the death for our sins was son Jesus

My Friend, My Savior

 
Soon I will walk through the valley of death
I will meet my loving Savior on the other side
He will welcome me home with open arms
It is in a home He made for me I shall abide

He will provide me this home for all eternity
No rent but it shall be faith in Him I will pay
In His perfect kingdom there will be no pain
No dark clouds will ever hide His sunlit day

It is with love He will welcome me up there
He has taken my sins as if they were his own
Then died for my sins on that wooden cross
Showing us the greatest love we have known

I know I will be with Him through time eternal
For time in Heaven will never come to an end
I will praise Him for what He has done for me
Knowing that I could never find a better friend

Door To Heaven

 
There is not a back door to get up in to Heaven
You must enter the front and Jesus has the key
He died on that old rugged cross for all our sins
So there could be an eternal life for you and me

His key will unlock beauty never seen by man
All the wonders we could never see but dream
Happiness will ever fill our spirit up in Heaven
He gives a promise to believers He will redeem

Find a place for Him in your heart to love Him
You will find He has unending love for you too
He has a place where we can have unending life
Heaven is waiting for Christians like me and you

Although life on Earth might be hard at times
Talk to Him in prayer for He will ever answer us
Listen to what He has to say then obey His word
You will never find a better friend than our Jesus

Always With Jesus

I know my heart is always with Jesus
With Him it is happiness I now know
He has saved me from that old devil
Now some day up to Heaven I will go

Give Him your heart and find the love
That will show you the way up to Glory
There you will find him waiting for you
So that beauty of Heaven you can see

When I find the peace Heaven will bring
As I enter into that great city He made
I will bow to Him and pay a great honor
For the terrible price for our sins He paid

No greater friend could ever be found
A Kingdom He has made for us all to see
A grand array of flowers in all their beauty
Could be waiting for both you and for me

I Wait For That Day

One day I shall see my loving Savior
When we gather around God’s throne
Find so many treasures up in Heaven
Down on Earth we had never known

With my dear friend Jesus by my side
Love will bring me to my knees in prayer
It is there I shall live a life that’s eternal
For I will forever be in God’s loving care

With all bondages of Earth left behind
I will never again suffer ravages of pain
Now He has cleansed my heart and soul
Sin will never enter in my thoughts again

Happiness I will see with Him up there
No time will storm clouds darken the day
Resting in the assurance of His protection
I wait for the day that He takes me away

Quiet Time

When the day turns to night and things are quiet 
I think about the promise God has given to us all
It is written that we can have a soul that is eternal
Knowing that He is the only God, we await His call

We were all born with that sin nature of the flesh
Jesus died taking our sins as if they were His own
He has made this great place that we call Heaven
It will show us beauty that we have never known

It is in these quiet times I enjoy talking to our Savior
He tells me of a life after death of the flesh He will give
Where all of His children who believe in His teachings
In that great eternal Kingdom with God they shall live

I can feel the joy as I think what He means to us all
Sending His only begotten son here to die for our sin
Then opening the gates to that beautiful city He made
Showing us all true worshipers would be welcomed in

Today as we face the world with a heavy heart
A father, grandfather, brother has passed away
Gone now to be reunited with the love of his life
Life in Heaven is beautiful I am sure he would say

Although it is so painful when a dear one leaves
Have solace knowing God has welcomed him in
To that lovely land where his life will be eternal
He now has no illness like on Earth it had been

Some day I know we shall see him up in Heaven
Walk with him on a pathway that is made of Gold
Forget all the trials and trouble we knew on earth
This is something that he would want us to be told

As we say goodbye to him I am sure he would say
Remember God has made this home that awaits us
Up there where only happiness shall we ever see
There to see the one who died to save us all, Jesus

Yes We Love Jesus

 Camp Son Rise is a church camp owned by Shawnee Hills Baptist
 Church near Portsmouth Ohio

Have you talked to your friend Jesus today
Did you tell Him how you love Camp Son Rise
You know He is so happy to see you here today
But you know that should not be a big surprise

He has a heart full of love for each one of you
Can you feel the love in your heart for Jesus
He died on that cross and took on all our sins
Showing the love He has for every one of us

If you have never talked to our friend Jesus
There is something you need to do every day
To find the greatest friend you will ever know
Ask Him to save your soul and to Him do pray

He knows each and every one of you by name
He wants to see you one day up in Glory land
If you love Him as you know that He loves you
Don’t you want to tell Him now that is your plan

Our Pot Of Gold

 Camp Son Rise is a church camp owned by Shawnee  Hills Baptist Church in Portsmouth Ohio area. No child has to pay a penny to attend camp. The rainbow's end was on the ground of the camp.

A beautiful scene we all saw yesterday
After the storm clouds had left the sky
The Sun peeked out and shined brightly
Causing a rainbow and we wonder why

Was it something God was showing us
This spectacular vision that we all saw
Beautiful colors were caused by the Sun
Shining through raindrops we seen fall

Although this beauty lasted but minutes
It captured the attention of all around
Because one part of the rainbow did end
On Camp Son Rise, part of God’s ground

Was God showing us He approves of you
Was it something that needs to be told
Camp Son Rise a great place to find Jesus
He is showing us it is really our pot of Gold

An Old Friend

 
There is an old friend I want you to meet
You can’t see Him but He will talk to you
He is the great Creator and Father of all
His kingdom is far beyond our sky of Blue

I speak to Him in a prayer day and night
Tell Him of love I have deep in my heart
Having confessed the sins I did commit
Nothing can keep my Jesus and I apart 

When a day comes that He calls me away
Happiness will ever fill this believer’s soul
I praise the day that I met my redeemer
By knowing Him, He has made me whole

When I think of what He has done for me
I know I would be nothing without my Lord
He died to give me an eternal life with Him
In my heart love of Him will ever be stored

So Much Love

 
If you will turn to our loving God

Listen to His word and then obey
Heaven’s gate should be your goal

He has made a place of eternal rest
He wants all of His children to find
No sorrows will we ever find up there
There we shall know a satisfied mind

When our days on this Earth are over
We shall gather around God’s throne

Find the truth we have never known

If today should be the day we meet
With you up in Heaven far up above
Feel the joy that will fill your heart

He Blessed America

Lord show me the peace that is in Heaven
Take away the trials and troubles of the day
Help me to understand what is happening
To what was a God fearing country the USA

Seems we have thrown away all He gave us
To live in a sin filled world that we have today
He blessed America with freedom and hope
But without caring we have thrown it all away

We have turned our backs on our Holy Savior
We somehow have lost sight of what we are
God gave us the greatest country ever known
I wonder if there are times we just don’t care

America will you wake up and show Him love
Ask Him to forgive us for all these sinful ways
Will He give us time to get things back in order
Do we have that much time left, that many days

Yesterday Is Gone

 
Yesterday is gone never to be again
Tomorrow is not a given fact for us
Be prepared for what this day brings
It might be the day you meet Jesus

Nothing is certain in this Earthly life
Except one day this life will be over
Put in a box and buried in the ground
A lifeless body underneath the clover

Gone from the grave the spirit will leave
Either to go up to Heaven or down to hell
If you have met God and have repented
Then your life up in Heaven will be well

Be prepared for that day as it surely will be
Jesus paid the penalty for our sin on the cross
Believe in Him and confess all wrong doings
Don’t let what He did for you to be a loss

Red, White, And Blue

 
I think about what was the United States
It was a great country once loved by God
Found on the true belief in our freedom
Through years we have fought for this sod

Many loyal people laid down their lives
To keep this beautiful land great and free
Sad to see what is happening to her now
Many freedoms are lost for you and me

Time stands still for not either you nor me
Changes are made now without our consent
It seems what the people want doesn’t count
Even our Constitution is now broken and bent
 
We want God to bless this our country America
Yet we have lost sight of what we need to do
We need to get back to putting God in our lives
Then He may again bless the Red, White, and Blue
