Jesus Was Born

It was a moonlight night in Bethlehem
In a manger there, a baby boy was born
This Son of God was entering the world
To face His life of rejection and of scorn

For there were many who would fear Him
While others mocked this Son of our God
So many would call Him an eccentric fool
They hated the ground where He had trod

As a man who lived on this earth one time
He faced many perils each and every day
Judas a disciple, who turned against Jesus
Selling Him out, a few gold coins was his pay

He hung on a cross on that Mount Calvary
Shedding His blood to save us all from sin
This Son of God born in a manger that night
Love Him, let your journey to Heaven begin

A Hallelujah Shout

Tear down the walls of ignornance
Because our dear Savior still lives
He shed His blood for all our sins
Showing this love for us He gives

Go tell it to everyone that will listen
There is a far better place we can go
A land of eternal blessings He gives
To go there our Lord you must know

Ask and He will make you a promise
He will lead you every step of the way
Obey and believe what He tells you
Heaven will be your home some day

Lets wake up all of the non believers
Show then what Heaven is all about
Let them know about that eternal life
Hear them give out a hallelujah shout

Our 31st Anniversary

Time has passed on so very swiftly
Since that day when we were wed
On that cold Saturday in December
Those sacred vows were then said

It's thirty one years since that day
When God united you and I as one
I bless that day and I always shall
Days of being alone were then done

My love for you has grown with time
No one could be in my heart but you
Each day I tell myself that I am lucky
Our marriage is equaled by only a few

Until that day we will go up to Heaven
To walk on that golden shore of sand
My love for you shall never ever waiver
I know this is the way God had it planned
