It Is with Sadness

It is with sadness we are losing her
This land born under God and free
We no longer are true to our God
How can we the majority let this be

There are some who just don’t care
Our freedom they would trade away
Is it too late now to get Him to help us
We need to fall down and loudly pray

With courts split on important issues
Seems we have long forgot God’s word
They tell us same sexes can be married
Nowhere in the Bible is that ever heard

If we are to save this our beloved country
I truly believe it is all up to us who love her
Get back to the ideals which she was found
Get our USA back to where we once were

Asking His Forgiveness

As the Sun rises above the distant hill
It is another day God has given to me
To atone for the sins I have committed
So I may have life thereafter with Thee

Pleasant is this wonderful day He gives
No troubles or torment will be in view
We will heed the words He has spoken
To our precious Lord we are ever true

His is a kingdom we all seek to go there
Knowing He loves and He will protect us
Only perfection will we ever see up there
We will meet and talk with a friend, Jesus

Although some do not have the time for Him
Either they don’t believe or just do not know
He has this wonderful place waiting for them
Asking His forgiveness to Heaven they can go

A New Birth

There is a better home that waits for us
When this life on Earth is gone and past
No more suffering will we know up there
Our days with Jesus shall eternally last

We shall walk along with our Devine Savior
We thank God we had listened to His word
Knowing then all the love we had for Him
Realizing the faith of everything we heard

How He saved my soul was so marvelous
His love came into my heart one lovely day
Showing me there is only one place for me
For a place in His eternal kingdom I do pray

Life is beautiful if you place your trust in Him
He will guide you from this ugly sinful Earth
To a place He has made for all His believers
It is up there we shall then have a new birth

No Room For Anger

Today I am so tired and I am weary
I don’t have many more years to go
Before I reach that city up in Heaven
As faith in our loving God does grow

As time goes fleeing, where did it go
Youth seemed to last but a short time
Those were happy years as I now recall
We thought they would last us a lifetime

Midlife passed without very much thought
Then one day we woke up and we were old
Things just don’t seem to be like they were
Feet that once were so warm are now cold

I know soon my Savior will be calling to me
Come home my son your Earthly life is over
I have prepared a home for your eternal life
It is a happy place there is no room for anger

We Have A Choice

 
Do you know where you are going
When you leave this world behind
Have you met our Lord and Savior
Or to Him are your thoughts blind

You know He made you from dust
Back to dust your body will return
Will you then ascend up to Heaven
Or go down to hell and forever burn

With God’s creation we have a choice
Follow Him and listen to His ever word
Or you can ignore all of His teachings
Pretend it is something we never heard

Which way you decide to go is up to you
Live a life in serenity and peace forever
Or battle the old devil in a burning hell
There your chance of leaving hell is never

Final Victory Won

I want to go to heaven when this life is over
I want to walk with Jesus on eternity’s shore
Shout and sing there with all my conviction
I shall be free from all my sins forevermore

He has given me a choice which way to go
Believe in Him and have an everlasting life
Or face the old devil in a place is called hell
To there be burdened with trouble and strife

What would you have to lose with our Savior
An eternal life with our loving Jesus that is all
Know that He wants you with Him in Heaven
Believe in Him and soon you will hear His call

If today you haven’t met him it’s time to pray
Tell Him that you want to be there in Heaven
That you want to know Him and to love Him
Let Him help you to get your final victory won

What Wonders

What wonders He bestows upon us
Making breath live in a body of dust
How precious it is to know our Savior
Believe and know in Him you can trust

Truth lays in every word that He utters
Pay attention and follow His Holy word
His love has no bounds and is unyielding
His voice is the sweetest we ever heard

One day soon He will call me up to heaven
Where I shall be reunited with those I love
They believe and have eternal life with Him
In that beautiful home that is far up above

Your home can be with our Blessed Savior
Confess your sins and ask His forgiveness
Read His words in the Holy Bible each day
His love will fill your soul with happiness

River Of Life

As we flow down the river of life
Many things will come into view
Some things are good some bad
Many things will be right for you

There will be days of good health
When you are young and care free
When older there are many pains
Maybe in your back or in a knee

You will see sadness as a friend dies
See joy at the birth new born child
Know days when it is blistering hot
See days when the weather is mild

You can get to know our Savior Jesus
Find a new life up in Heaven above
There to live a life that has no ending
Know the wonder of God’s undying love

Walk With Me While I Age

Will you walk with me while I age
Know the comfort of your presence
Ever feel the love held in my heart
Never to know your loves absence

Foot prints are etched in the sand
Ours together unyielding as if one
With joy in our hearts we will walk
Smiling, always having so much fun

Looking upward to that eternal city
Where with Jesus we will walk one day
On the pathway made of purest Gold
Smile as we see the angels out to play

My friend I want to walk there with you
We can walk with Jesus all day and night
Know we are entrusted in all His glory
Up there it shall ever be a glorious sight

Standing At The Portal

Soon I will be standing at the portal
Where my Savior Jesus will ask me in
It was Jesus who lost His life on Earth
To atone for all of God’s believers sin

Each person born into this Earthly life
Has a sin nature born in every one of us
Its known the penalty for our sin is to die
He died on the cross taking our sin, Jesus

Who so ever believes in Him shall not die
But will find eternal life with Jesus above
To spend those days in complete harmony
Up in Heaven a place that is filled with love

Don’t let the devil deceive and persuade us
That he has something that is better for you
His way is wrong and it will lead you to hell
Not a one of the things he tells you is true

He Will Listen

Are you too busy to spend time with Jesus
Funny because He will spend time with you
He is never so busy that He won’t listen to us
You know He can solve all your problems too

If you take time to talk to Him He will listen
Every word that you utter He will always hear
Through Him you will find the way to Heaven
Where you will ever be in His gentle loving care

Jesus is your friend and don’t you ever forget it
He died on the cross to cleanse you of your sin
If you believe that He is the great Holy redeemer
He will open the portals of Heaven and let you in

So take some time this day to talk to friend Jesus
I know it will not be a waste of your precious time
He will show you the way to find life that is eternal
Up in His place that everyone will find to be sublime

In The Arms Of God

 
Today I am so tired and I am weary
I don’t have many more miles to go
Then I will reach that Heavenly City
Peace and contentment I shall know

Resting there in the arms of our God
No pain or suffering will I again feel
For He will protect and comfort me
This I believe and I know that it is real

Having this knowledge while on Earth
I can survive the constant evil of the day
Pray for those who do not believe in God
Hoping some day they see things His way

Jesus is waiting for you at Heaven’s gate
It’s an eternal life that awaits you there
Happiness will be with you through time
There you will ever be in God’s loving care
