Sweetest Story Ever Told

Today I am waiting for sweet Jesus
Wanting to hear Him call me home
When my earthly life is over and done
Over beautiful Heaven I shall roam

To walk in Heaven’s wondrous City
With Jesus walking there by my side
No feeling could ever be any brighter
Knowing it’s here forever I will reside

Feelings of comfort can be felt up there
No danger will anyone there ever face
Sin can never be enticing up in Heaven
No devil can enter God’s serene place

I hope I will be able to see you up there
It’s where our lives will never grow old
When we meet God with all of His glory
His will be the sweetest story ever told
