Meeting Him

 
When those gates of Glory swing open
What a great jubilee our eyes will see
As we all gather around God’s throne
Much happiness and love there will be

We will see friends as we gather there
Some we had lost very many years ago
Joy will overwhelm us as we see them
Forever to be with them we now know

A promise God made and a promise kept
That we all could have an everlasting life
He only ask that we believe and to follow
To that Land that has no trouble or strife

Yesterday’s thought of Heaven we shall see
As we enter into this most Holy Place of all
There to spend our eternal life with Jesus
Meeting Him when our name He does call
