His City

There will come a day soon
When I shall walk by His side
Along that Golden pathway
In His City where I will reside

He has made this City for us
Believers who know He lives
A passage to His eternal City
It will be my reward He gives

Always to be near our Savior
I couldn’t bear to be apart
I know He loves His children
Love for Him is in my heart

Have you had that feeling
Knowing He is by your side
Walking in His lovely garden
There with Him I shall abide
