God's Beautiful Picture

 
As the Sun sinks behind the mountain
The sky reflects the Sun's rays of Gold
A beautiful picture God has shown us
Reflections in a nearby lake are bold

With scrub pine trees scattered around
Atop this mountain is fresh fallen snow
A deep Blue lake fed from the mountain
Around this lake beautiful flowers grow

As night time comes so do the creatures
A cricket can be heard calling for his mate
As the moon shines so brightly this night
It does not seem that it could be this late

God has created so much beauty for us
Some never think to give Him the praise
We should never forget what He did for us
So tell Him as you pray in the coming days
