Our Name He Does Call

 
Although todays sky is dark and gloomy
I know the good Lord watches over me
He is ever present and He always cares
Even in the darkest of night He can see

His presence brings to me much comfort
It is in His protective arms I shall ever be
He gave up His life to make us free of sin
One day in Heaven my lord, you I will see

We know we must follow His teachings
If we are to live in His City high in the sky
You must be what is expected out of you
He wants that so you don’t ask Him why

Although He sets His standards very high
We know that one day it will be worth it all
When we enter into God’s great Kingdom
Happiness comes as our name He does call
