A Reward Of Faith

When the last breath of my life is gone
My soul will no longer be Earth bound
I will be on my way to the Eternal City
When I hear that great trumpet sound

There to meet Jesus, Savior of sinners
To walk and to talk with Him every day
See the beauty of His Eternal Kingdom
Know the joy of Heaven where we pray

Up there to live the perfect life like Him
Where long ago Lucifer was thrown out
Who then became a devil here on Earth
Angry because he didn’t have God’s clout

It is with great happiness we live up there
Forever in a life that has no ending you see
God has provided for us this perfect home
As a reward of faith to both you and to me
