Time has passed on so very swiftly
Since that day when we were wed
On that cold Saturday in December
Those sacred vows were then said
It's thirty one years since that day
When God united you and I as one
I bless that day and I always shall
Days of being alone were then done
My love for you has grown with time
No one could be in my heart but you
Each day I tell myself that I am lucky
Our marriage is equaled by only a few
Until that day we will go up to Heaven
To walk on that golden shore of sand

I know this is the way God had it planned
