Just A Glimpse

As I look at the majestic mountains
From the valley that is hidden below
I hear the howl of a lonesome coyote
Up above where the tall Pines grow

He is seeking his faithful companion
Who has been out foraging for food
She has five puppies that are hungry
Takes a lot of food to feed her brood

An Eagle is flying high above a stream
That flows down the mountain's side
He has an eye on a big speckled trout
It's sad the trout has no place to hide

I sit here and I see this spectacular site
Has God made this place of tranquility
For us to see on Earth a small glimpse
Of what  in God's Heaven we shall see
