Mirrored Lake

Beneath the mighty mountain top we see
Reflections mirrored on a deep blue lake
Of tall pines growing out to reach the sky
This is beauty that only God could make

Quiet it is this bright and warm Spring day
Broken only by a large Hawk's loud scream
Who is searching for a dinner of tasty Trout
On the melting snow fed sparkling stream

God made this place for us to enjoy the beauty
Where we can relax and lay our burdens away
Look at the magnificence of this great wonder
Could anyone believe it happened another way

As I sit here in this majestic near perfect scene
I wonder just how beautiful His Heaven will be
Without doubt He will show us a masterpiece
As with wide eyes His home in Heaven we see
