It is with certainty I know my Savior lives
I will meet Him in Heaven one bright day
With all the joy my heart could ever stand
Love for Sweet Jesus has come my way
Even down here in this lonesome valley
I can walk and talk with Him without fail
For He is the strength of our entire being
He comforts both the healthy and the frail
No shadows do we fear for He is with us
Every day He will be standing by my side
Always gentle and warm is His demeanor
Up in Heaven one sweet day I shall reside
I shall hear the call that day when I leave
Climbing the steps up to that better Place
When I arrive to see those Pearly Gates
I will know with God, I have won the race
