My Grandma

Everything is quiet now in her little cottage
Its been that way since grandma passed away
Memories of my grandma will last a lifetime
I can remember her wonderful smile every day

Grandma would read from her Bible daily
For her God she always said a kind word
As she sang in the church choir years ago
Hers was the sweetest voice that we heard

Time passed and she grew old I suppose
I noticed how she would forget some things
One thing she remembered was her Bible
She loved reading verses of 1 and 2 Kings

At grandma's funeral there were many friends
Lying beside her was that old bible she read
I know grandma must be there in Heaven now
God has listened to everything grandma said
