When my journey ends one day
I shall be on that Golden Shore
There to see my Lord and Savior
I shall live in His land evermore
He has been with me every day
Through the good times and bad
He has seen me in my happiness
He has seen me when I was sad
He has helped me over my sorrow
When things looked so bleak to me
He raised the spirit from deep within
No greater friend can I find than He
Please know that He made a promise
To take you up to His Promised Land
If you believe and follow His teachings
Heaven for you is in His master plan
